The last year has been an amazing experience for the San Francisco Drupal community and we would like to thank everyone for coming to DrupalCon SF. It was a pretty amazing thing to bring 3,000 people together for a Drupal event in San Francisco and it was magical to see Drupalcon grow while still maintaining our unique culture. In the final analysis, I think it is the Drupal community more than anything else that makes Drupal great and I think Drupalcon plays a big role in promoting and building that culture.
A big thanks to everyone who helped make the event a success and check out the closing session for a full list of everyone who helped and a "by the numbers" view of the conference. A few highlights:
3056 attendees who paid an average of $205 per ticket.
357 days of planning with 105 daily phone calls and 31 general meetings.
495 people trained in 20 different trainings.
132 presented sessions and 120 BOF gatherings.
$300,000 in estimated profits, even with spending $72,000 on coffee.
