Want to get dirty? Ride in a wheelbarrow? Get a workout for a good cause? I've organized a special tour of Hayes Valley Farm for Drupalcon SF attendees and friends. Get some fresh air and help transform a freeway into a farm. This inspiring project just 'broke concrete' in January and is an experiment with greening "interim land" slated for development. We have some geeky soil testing experiments in store for you all!

Who would have thought an abandoned stretch of freeway could become such a fun place. Dwarf fruit trees and lettuce!

Zoey, thanks for taking the time to arrange this. The pocket seed library you gave us as presents is super awesome. There's something special about giving seeds as a gift! And the story cards of the people and their projects, very cool!
