Putting Drupal to work. I started working for an enterprise networking publisher and event organizer just before the dawn of the public Internet--helped publish article like "Why Modem Speeds Will Never Top 56k." Moved from print to the web in 1999, and went through endless migrations of static sites, manual RSS feeds, podcast creation, video editing. Recently made the jump to freelance web building with a focus on Drupal--centered on helping companies structure their content, SEO, theming, leveraging contrib, multimedia. Have worked with companies large and small, mostly B-to-B: marketing, tech publishing, landscaping, business coaching.

Coming to SF for my first DrupalCon because: there's always more to do, more to learn, and more people to meet with complementary skills. And, yeah, this stuff is both work and fun. I've already met some great Chicago-centric Drupalers. Look forward to meeting more.
