Laura Scott

Laura Scott has been designing websites since 1995 and working with Drupal since 2004. A designer and themer, Laura has designed and developed award-winning websites for BlogHer, Stanford Law School and several online community sites, and was creative director on sites developed for clients ranging from Scripps to California Watch. In 2005 she founded pingV, an independent consultancy for interactive media. In 2006, she co-founded pingVision, a company focused on Drupal development for enterprise-level sites. In 2009, she revived PINGV as a web strategy and design consultancy.

In 2008, Laura was elected to the Drupal Association General Assembly, where she has worked with the Drupal.org redesign efforts, among other things. You may have seen her video, What is Drupal?, which won several awards.

She has presented on design and theming (and other topics) at several conferences, including BlogHer 2006, OSCMS 2007, DrupalCon Boston 2008, DrupalCamp Colorado 2009 and DrupalCon Paris 2009.
