Krystee Dryer

At Balance Interactive, Krystee is involved with all development aspects of our projects as Technical Development Director. From proposal and strategy to development to launch and maintenance, Krystee keeps clients' websites healthy and secure. In addition, Krystee is involved in the quality assurance process and training and user manual documents. She also evaluates new technologies, provides recommendations and standardizes the technical development process.

Her early career of a Chemical Engineer focused on environmental projects for the paper/pulp industry and included programming process simulations using FORTRAN, C, and C++. In 1997, she founded an online craft community with a love for Perl that included online auctions, e-commerce, and distributer/end-user services. As it grew larger and the programming opportunities grew smaller, she sold it to her partners and concentrated on learning new programming languages and database administration. She now enjoys working with ASP.NET, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL and Perl. Her idea of a successful day is when she can elegantly program a new function or module for a client and can add it to her growing library of "neat tricks."

Krystee received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University with a concentration in mathematical modeling of chemical systems. She is a certified Ektron developer as well as very experienced in Drupal, CiviCRM, Joomla, Wordpress, and DNN.
