As senior computer scientist for Adobe Systems Incorporated, Chris Bank is on the engineering team for Adobe Dreamweaver, one of the industry’s leading web authoring tools. In this role, Bank develops software for web professionals including web designers, web developers, and visual designers. Bank joined Macromedia in 1999 and joined Adobe in 2005 when the company acquired Macromedia. Earlier in his career, Bank conducted internationalization engineering on Adobe Contribute and Dreamweaver.
Bank has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a minor in Digital Arts from the University of California, Irvine.
Bank has spoken at several Adobe events, including the popular Adobe MAX conferences. He belongs to the W3C HTML Working Group, the World Wide Web Consortium working on shaping the future of HTML.
