A documentary filmmaker in a past life, for the last ten years I've been working with teachers and students to try to make this "web thing" work for them in some role other than as consumers. Recently, I'm involved in an effort to provide content management and, ideally, digital asset management, to the researchers and scholars at UC Berkeley. I'm also the webmaster for the local high school crew (rowing team). We switched the site to Drupal this year, hoping to create more involvement among the non-technical, and very busy, crew parents.
