Shawn DeArmond
Shawn DeArmond is a developer for the School of Education at UC Davis, where he has helped shape their technology infrastructure for the last ten years. Shawn discovered Drupal almost four years ago after being too frustrated with static-page sites home-grown CMSes. Since then, he has launched dozens of Drupal sites; the most recent being, with the professional services of Digital Deployment, the latest redesign of the School of Education's primary public-facing web site.
Shawn is an active member of the Sacramento Area Drupal User Group (SacDUG) where he has given presentations on SEO, Module Development, Drupal Core Patch Review, and Drush.
This will be the second DrupalCon that Shawn will attend, the first being last year in DC. He has also attended several BADCamps, presenting sessions at two of them.
This year, Shawn is a volunteer with the DrupalCon team, helping to build a system for conducting DrupalCon session surveys.
