Don Duval

After many years in the world of hardware design engineering for Sun Microsystems, Broadcom, Applied Technology Division of ITEK and others, I moved into the world of educational technology support. Currently, I'm the lone report to the Director of Technology at Stanford New Schools. My activities include, but are not limited to, computer maintenance, PowerSchool database administration, Mac OS X Server administration, email account administration and web site development and maintenance.

With my strong encouragement, the Director of Technology chose to move our three former websites to Drupal. Prior to the change we had two Joomla-based sites and a third site developed in DreamWeaver. We hired a consultant, Richard Kassissieh, to do an initial site design and configuration. He provided an excellent starting point for our own work while educating us via Skype conferences on many important aspects of administering our Drupal-based site.
