Kathy Marks

Kathy is a front-end web developer specializing in Drupal, usability, web standards, and accessibility. She develops web sites and application interfaces for the ASU web, as well as tools for use by the ASU web development community. A proponent of open source and a Drupal evangelist, she helped found the ASU Drupal Users Group and the ASU Web Community and has initiated many training and support resources for ASU developers. As a member of the ASU Accessibility subcommittee, she helped establish accessibility guidelines for the ASU web and continues to advocate for accessibility, usability and standards on the internet.

Before beginning a career in web development in 1997, Kathy was a novelist, with four published novels. She has a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature, from Michigan State University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis, respectively.
