jQuery Conference 2010: San Francisco Bay Area Announced

Guess what everybody? It's time to consider extending your hotel stay so that you can stick around after Drupalcon 2010 for the jQuery Conference being held April 24th and 25th - the weekend right after Drupalcon.

Ever since Drupal 5 the jQuery library has been included in Drupal core and we've been loving it. It makes working with Javascript fun, again.

Registration is currently scheduled to open on Wednesday, March 17th; tickets will be priced at $199. In addition to General Admission tickets, we’re offering a limited number of discounted student tickets priced at $99, with a valid student ID.

Much like Drupalcon San Francisco, the jQuery conference will start with a day of training provided by appendTo. Training will be at a different venue, costs $299, and all proceeds will go to the jQuery project.

The training and conference together provide great opportunities to boost your jQuery skills which are, of course, directly applicable to working with Javascript in Drupal.
