Jeff Haug

I have been working with PHP and Mysql to build websites for the last 10 years. I graduated from Souther Oregon University with a degree in Computer Information Systems. I run a small one person shop located in Ashland, Oregon.

In the past I have developed my own content management systems. Around two years ago I began to evaluate alternatives to my own cms. This is how I found Drupal and have been trying my best to learn to use it for my new projects.

Although I would consider myself a developer more than a designer I have embraced Drupal and have been able to complete all my projects using available modules. One of the biggest advantages that made me go with Drupal over its competitors is its ability to override the display and functionality of the core without hacking it.

I am a big fan of Ubercart and have completed several complex stores based upon it. I have worked with several other shopping carts in the past including OSCommerce and written custom carts in the past. I look forward to leveraging Ubercart and Drupal for all future ecommerce projects.

This will be my first Drupalcon and I look forward to learning and networking with others in the field.

Besides computers I am into gardening, running, mountain biking, hiking, good food, and beer.
