I'm a Senior Technical Manager at the Longsight Group and I'm based in Los Angeles, California. Our company has clients all over the US, and we mostly work in the Higher Education, Training and Education markets. Our consulting and hosting services utilize Drupal mostly as a CMS or portal solution, which we then integrate with our client's on-campus systems. We also host and develop Sakai and DSpace, as well as other open source tools used by the education market.

Jim Salem

For the past 25 years, Jim Salem has been a pioneer in distributed computing, web hosting, and the software as a service. He has extensive experience in all aspects of internet service delivery including scalable hosting infrastructure design, automated application provisioning, efficient resource management, and 24×7 operations.

He is currently VP of Platform Services at Acquia where leads the hosting team and is responsible for Acquia's high-end, scalable hosting services. Read more »
