I am the system administrator for the Learning Technologies group of Academic Support within the Office of Information Technology at the University of Maryland. My primary role is to support blackboard, but I still get time to play with next gadgets, social media sites, web 2.0 tools and my favorite, drupal. When I'm not fussing about blackboard, participating in the University of Maryland Drupal Users group.

I also freelance my services and have developed drupal sites for the UMD as well as a few others.

Bill Fitzgerald

Bill has been active in the Drupal community for 5 years. In November, 2004, Bill and Marc Poris started FunnyMoney, a web development shop that works primarily with clients primarily in the Education and Non-Profit sectors. Prior to starting FunnyMonkey, Bill worked in K12 education, where he was an English teacher, History teacher, and a Technology Director.

Bill is also the author of Using Drupal in Education, published by Packt Publishing.
