Views are a powerful way to display specific subsets of your content. From a simple list of all nodes in a single content type to a complex collection of related information, each step will be explained so you can easily repeat the strategy in your own views.

I will demonstrate a systematic approach to building all views and show examples of using arguments and relationships.

Topics
• Systematic way to create ALL views in the GUI
• What are arguments and how to use them
• What are relationships and how to use them
   • Discussion of CCK node reference
• Why you should export your Views to code

Great talk! FAST, but when we got the slides and video/audio that is not a problem :)

Cheers!

a presenter with good presentation skills. NIcely paced, easy to follow, right to the point. Good job MIchelle

Excellent presentation! Great info and delivered expertly. Well done! :) I wish I had this around when I was first learning to export views some months ago. Best explanation I have seen. :)

For me this was the best-delivered and most useful presentation of the conference. Like others have said, it went FAST - but every example was clear, the slides were easy to read and follow along with, and miche's voice carried as well in the room as on the recording.

To see how well-designed this talk really is, try running the slides with the sound off. You won't have any trouble following along anyway because of how well annotated everything is.

An amazingly well-done, professional presentation.

I agree, I went through all the views presentations and this one by far has the most value. If you want the job done right, go to miche!!

Hi Michelle

I did download your files of the glossary example. What i did is I imported your glossary view on the import views page. Now it is displayed as a default view. How can I get rid of it again?

Thanks
