The last year has been an amazing experience for the San Francisco Drupal community and we would like to thank everyone for coming to DrupalCon SF. It was a pretty amazing thing to bring 3,000 people together for a Drupal event in San Francisco and it was magical to see Drupalcon grow while still maintaining our unique culture. In the final analysis, I think it is the Drupal community more than anything else that makes Drupal great and I think Drupalcon plays a big role in promoting and building that culture.

A big thanks to everyone who helped make the event a success and check out the closing session for a full list of everyone who helped and a "by the numbers" view of the conference. A few highlights:

Hi,

To monitor available content about DrupalCon realtime, I created a Taatler instance on Saturday .. It gathers all the mention of a topic in twitter + news, websites, blogs, multimedia sites like Ustream, Youtube etc... It's already giving a great result this morning more than 170 mentions.

-Go to http://z3cfy4.dev2.webenabled.net/node?filter=all&topic=3
-Under each news item you find most relevant click on "vote"
-The most voted on would be listed in http://z3cfy4.dev2.webenabled.net/node?filter=mostvotes&timeframe=all

http://sf2010.drupal.org/community/forum/monitor-available-content-about-drupalcon-realtime-and-vote-best#commentsDCSFDrupalConlivestreammonitorrealtimeMon, 19 Apr 2010 08:23:33 +0000JBI16983 at http://sf2010.drupal.orgDeep Dive on Drupal and the Microsoft Platform Session

We will also go into some details on using Drupal with Microsoft SQL Server that you can hear more about during the Dries keynote on Monday.

If you've never seen Drupal running on Windows/IIS with SQL Server this is a session you do not want to miss.
