Picking sessions to attend using bookmarks

Can you change the sessions by day view (http://sf2010.drupal.org/conference/schedule) so that I can see my session bookmarks on this page (like with a star, or something)? I bookmarked a bunch of sessions that I would like to attend, and now need to pick one session per time-slot. The 'my bookmark' page doesn't show the session time-slots, or whether I'm attending. I'm going to have to click on each bookmark, then look up the day/time in the sessions by day schedule to see whether or not I'm already attending a session at that time.

Plan your DrupalCon adventure by picking the sessions you want to attend!

Because DrupalCon is such a large event, and the time flies by so fast, I always recommend you put together a list of the sessions you really want to go to and keep it handy. You can start doing this now by going to the session schedule and adding sessions to your personal schedule. By signing up you'll be able to see what sessions are on what day and at what time, and come to the unfortunate realization that you can't be in three places at once.

Thanks to everyone for providing us with 408 wonderful sessions to choose from! We are busily sending out email confirmations to the speakers, and beginning our process of organizing all the approved sessions into a daily schedule.

We wanted to share a bit about our larger selection process for sessions:

Session proposals randomized? Nearly 3 hours to review and vote for 412 entries.

Are the session proposal views randomized in any way? I fear that many people may not make it past the first page of 100. When I started I just thought there was one page and then when I got to the bottom and saw the pager I was like, "Oh!".

3 hours later and I finished going through all of the proposals. I would load a page and then middle click all the ones I was interested in and then bookmark and/or vote for the ones I was examining further. Not sure everyone knows the middle click technique though. Even so, expecting people to take even 1+ hours to vote on sessions is not realistic.

Vote for sessions by March 1st. Spread the word!

What do you want out of your conference experience? You have a say in what happens at Drupalcon SF by voting on which sessions you want to attend. Our conference web team just added "share" features to the sessions pages, so you can encourage your friends to vote and attend the conference.

Voting ends March 1st, so vote soon! Spread the word!

Attention all brilliant Drupalists: if you want to get your session in for 2010's North American Drupalcon — today is your last day. Go to sf2010.drupal.org/node/add/session and get yours posted. After submitting your great idea, be ready to rally some support for your sessions, because on February 16th voting will begin.

The San Francisco DrupalCon organizing team is happy to announce that we have opened the sessions submissions process.

The session submission and voting schedule is:

January 15 2010 to February 15 2010 - Open Session Submissions.
February 16, 2010 - March 01, 2010 - Public Voting on Submissions.
March 5th 2010 - Speakers Notified
March 15th 2010 - Final Schedule Posted
