  • What is DrupalCon?

DrupalCon is the twice-yearly gathering of Drupalers to learn about, discuss, and advance Drupal, and to network with other Drupal community members. There, you will have the opportunity to meet Drupal community leaders, top developers, your favorite module maintainers, dojo trainers, members of the Drupal association, potential business partners, and future employees!

We are offering two hotels with discounted rates for DrupalCon attendees. Please see our Logistics section for more information.

  • How do I get there?

The conference is located at Moscone Center South 747 Howard Street, between 3rd St. and Fourth St., San Francisco

Leave your car at home and help to lower your carbon footprint.  There are many public transportation options which can get you to the venue.

  • What is there to do at the conference?

The conference itself offers many sessions on diverse subjects. Tracks include: marketing and business, design and user experience, site building, community and core, showcases and blueprints, and case studies
. Additionally, there are BoF (birds of a feather) sessions for every interest group.

The sponsor expo area is a great place to get information on products and services, or to just strike up a conversation.

  • How much does it cost to attend DrupalCon?

Tickets start at $150 (for the first 200) and will go up to $195 afterwards. Register early to guarantee your place at the Drupal community's premier conference. Logistical information about hotels and transit information are available on the website.

On-site food packages and discoutned accommodations are also availale to registered attendees.

  • Why do I need to create a profile on this site?

All information about you for DrupalCon is held in your profile. That's why it's important for you to fill it out. We'll pull your full name for your conference badge from here, along with some other information to make meeting people easier.

  • Can I register more than one person at once?

    Unfortunately, no.

Each person's profile holds all of their conference registration information, so we need each payment map to an individual. Your profile on the site helps us keep track of who's paid so every conference attendee should set up a profile on this site.

If you are an employer and would like to buy conference tickets for many employees, you should request an invoice with the desired number of tickets, lunches, and trainings. Once a payment has been received we will provide you with discount coupons your employees can use to register themselves for the conference, and set up their own profiles.

  • Will I receive any registration materials in the mail?

Nope — no paper. Once you pay for your ticket, you'll receive a receipt from us via email. You can also check the status of your order by visiting your "My Account" page and viewing the "orders" tab. We'll send you the occasional email leading up to the conference, but that's it. When you arrive at DrupalCon, all you need to do is give your name and show appropriate identification.

  • Is DrupalCon good for newbies?

Yes. DrupalCon is a chance to learn more about what can be done with Drupal, where modules are moving in the future, and to meet the people behind the modules you use. The showcase track will cater to newbies and show off excellent sites built with Drupal, explain what they do, and how the were built. There will also be some beginner and immediate level sessions in other tracks that focus more on development.

We're also offering training the Sunday before the conference and that will feature a crash course, made just for newbies.
